Pallet Flow Racking Advantages
Pallet flow racking can help you achieve your goals through higher storage density and ease of access. This racking system works by having rollers or wheeled carts on inclined rows. When you load a pallet at the back of the rack, it slowly slides forward until it reaches the front of the rack. This eliminates space between pallets, giving you more storage space. It also helps simplify your forklift routes, saving money on maintenance and energy. Lanes are available with two to ten pallets deep.
This setup is ideal for high-volume SKUs that require first-in-first-out. In some setups, you can even load pallets at the front of the rack, pushing all other pallets back.
